Wes’s Musical Meltdown for 9/11/15: Show Recap, Playlist, and Download

As I was ill on September 8, my normal Tuesday night for doing the shows, I rescheduled for Friday, September 11. In addition to the normal show, we had an extended musical tribute to the events and aftermath of September 11, 2001, a day NO American should ever forget. I’d like to thank all of those who suggested tracks beyond the normal two or three that are always played in memory of the day. Thanks to Shannon, Julie, Maggie, and others. Thanks to all who interacted in the chat room. Thanks, also, to Megan Mason for her co-hosting talents.

This week, our cover comparison comes from Stevie Wonder and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Listen to find out who won. Also, listen to hear my picks for week one of the NFL regular season. Let’s see if I do better than I did last year.

This edition of the meltdown was action-packed. Once again, we had Megan Mason as our co-host. Thanks to the new listeners who tuned in; it was a pleasure having all of you tuned in and in the chat room. Thanks, as always, to returning listeners who interacted with the show as well.

I’m happy to announce that The request page is back up and running!

In addition to wonderful music on the program, including our cover comparison, we also had a lively discussion regarding the issue of transgender students and which bathroom should be used while at school. This WHIO story sparked the discussion.

Wes’s Musical Meltdown for 08/05/2015: Show Recap, Playlisst, and Download

Yesterday, August 5, myself and Holly filled in for Gina, host of Gina’s Organized Chaos, on XTFM. It was a blast. Jusst over 3 and a half hours of good music, comedy, and conversation. The show was predominantly classic rock, but wwe had a few new rockers and some requests in there for good measure. Cover Comparison pitted Joe Walsh up against Godsmack.

As a warning, parts of this one may not be suitable for the easily offended, or young children.
