Episode 011: Generations with Meegan & Rebekah for 10/24/2017

Last night, Megan and Rebekah presented another great edition of Generations. They played lots of requests, and gave us a spooky edition of Sound Effects Theatre. In addition, they gave a brief recap of the Jason Aldean show that happened here in Columbus.

Next week, the ladies will be on via pre-recorded methods with a Halloween show. If you have requests, and know how to reach Megan or Rebekah, do so and they will do their best to put them in. For privacy reasons, their contact information will not be posted here. Catch them at 7:00 PM East on XTFM. The Request Page Will be left up over the weekend, probably starting Friday, so you can get requests in that way as well. Try to keep them Halloween-themed, please.

Wes’s Musical Meltdown For 07/09/2017 With Guest Hostess Rebekah Weiner: A Radio Star is Born!

For this week’s edition of Wes’s Musical Meltdown on XTFM, We had an awesome guest host. My stepdaughter, Rebekah, made her hosting debut. Other than requests submitted by the listeners, she hand-picked all the music. I taught her and her mom the basics of the software, Megan helped her come up with some of her dialogue during the voice breaks…But this was indeed her show. When it was all said and done, she gave us just over four hours of great radio.

I want to thank my XTFM colleagues, and of course all the listeners, for their support. I know Rebekah had a great time, and I’m 100% sure this won’t be her last time onn-air.

Thanks also to Bekah’s friends, her grandma, and my daughter/her stepsister, Alexis, and our good friend and XTFM colleague Bob for all the requests.

Next week, I return to the airwaves at our normal time of 7:00 PM East. It’ll be an all-country show.

The following Sunday, on July 23, Megan Weiner, Bekah’s mom and my awesome fiancee, will make her hosting debut. Could this be the start of a new radio show? I guess you’ll have to stick around to find out.

Wes’s Musical Meltdown Semi-Angry Edition: 11/30/2015 On The VIP Lounge

An excellent final test run for The VIP Lounge Radio this afternoon. The show starts in its regular slot on the station on Saturday, 4:00 PM US Eastern. Of course, don’t miss me in my new, earlier time slot on Tuesdays, starting at 9:00 PM East on XTFM.

Many close to me know about the events that transpired this past week on Thanksgiving, and the ensuing crap continuing to be dealt with. In honor of that, the opening set is…A little angry. As a warning, this show is definitely not for the younger listeners…Or the easily offended. At least, not the first 20 minutes or so. That said, I had a blast. A good number of requests, lots of listener interaction. So, enjoy.
