Episode 006: Generations with Megan and Rebekah; 9/11 Tribute, Politically Incorrect 40’s Songs, and Much More!

This week on Generations with Megan and Rebekah, we had music from the 1940’s up to today. It was a great mix of pop, country, rock, and even some slightly politically incorrect comic tunes from our grandparents’ generation.

In addition to great music, Bekah tells us about a book she’s reading for school about a family in the aftermath of 9/11, and Megan sings live for us.

Catch the ladies every Tuesday night at 7:00 PM East on XTFM!

Wes’s Musical Meltdown for 08/20/2017: Music, talk about Movies, And More!

Tonight on the Meltdown, we had a good variety of music and topical discussion. Unfortunately, I’ve not been able to reincorporate Skype, but this will happen once I buy a USB headset or other external sound card. You can always join us in the chat room found on the XTFM Website.

We took a listen to Ryan Follese and The Cadillac Three from their pre-country days. We also heard new music from Ray Wylie Hubbard, The Josh Abbott Band, and Lindsay Ell. There was a comedy set, some Christian rock/contemporary, and much more.

Mixed in with requests, new music, and the cover comparison, we also discussed some movies I saw this weekend, as well as people who think they are the thought/humor/social media police. That may inspire its own blog post later. For now, kick back, and enjoy this week’s edition of the Musical Meltdown.
