Wes’s Musical Meltdown for 11/19/2017; Pre-Thanksgiving Edition

The pre-Thanksgiving edition of the Meltdown is one that almost didn’t get submitted as a podcast due to some local recording issues. Thank God for an awesome system administrator who has everything archived and easy for us DJ’s to access when our tech fails us.

On this week’s Meltdown, we pay tribute to the late Malcolm Young of AC/DC, Chuck Mosley of Faith No More, and country legend Mel Tillis. We also have new country from Carly Pearce, Lee Brice, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Kelleigh Bannen, and much more. Of course, plenty of requests. We also dig up some classic gems from 90’s rockers Caroline’s Spine, Pist. On, and The Four Horsemen. Enjoy!

Catch us live every Sunday at 7:00 East on XTFM or find us on TuneIn or OoTunes. If you have an Amazon Alexa product, simplay tell Alexa to “Play X Transmission FM From Tunein”, and she’ll do it.

Wes’s Musical Meltdown for 10/15/2017: Country, Metal, and Even a Bit of Jazz

This week on the Meltdown, we were all over the place musically. Progressive metal, country, Christian, even a bit of jazz. We talked about the upcoming Jason Aldean concert happening this week here in Columbus, and discussed how as a travel agent, I was able to get my family tickets. Our Cover CComparison featured Matchbox Twenty going up against Texas-based alt country artist Casey Donnahew.

Join me next week at 7:00 PM Eastern Sunday on XTFM for the Meltdown live.
