Wes’s Musical Meltdown for 06/09/2020: Live Guests On-Air, Lots of Great Tunes!

This week’s show was a lot of fun. For the first time in four and a half years, I was able to bring guests on-air, and was fortunate enough to be joined by several of my Magic 109 crew. We talked about amusement parks requiring masks, cracked some jokes, and talked a bit of music. We also had an extended set of African-American and mixed-race musicians from outside the hip-hop and modern R&B genres. Also, I briefly talk about Vocalist Tommy Vext’s Comments as an African-American musician regarding recent events, BLM, and the like. In addition, our Cover Comparison put Head East up against hard rockers Rainbow. Thanks to all who listened and requested. Join me next week, Tuesday, 7:00 PM East/4:00 PM Pacific and Arizona time.
