Wes’s Musical Meltdown for 05/29/2018: Week 2 of the New Time Slot; This Time, WITHOUT Having to Cut It Short

The second week of the Meltdown’s new Tuesday night time slot went much better than the first week. No health scares to end the show prematurely. We went for just about two hours and had a great mix of new and old, requests, and a Cover Comparison.

In addition to the music, we also talk a bit about Phil Mogg deciding to call it quits after UFO’s tour next year, and we find out what song new Stone Temple Pilots singer Jeff Gutte says is off-limits for him to sing…By his own choice. For the most part, it’s a family-friendly show, but you may want the little ones to leave the room for the last couple songs. For mature ears only. Or…Maybe not-so-mature, but over 18, anyway.

Join me next week at 8:00 East, Tuesday night, on XTFM. In addition to the usual mix of music, I’ll also be bringing you an interview with country artist Will Thomas Reed. We’ll talk about his new EP as well as his past work with other artists you may have heard before.
